Theater Breaking Through Barriers celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Ridiculous Theatrical Company with the first Off-Broadway revival of THE ARTIFICIAL JUNGLE by Charles Ludlam. It is directed by Everett Quinton, who co-starred in the 1986 premiere and was the Artistic Director of The Ridiculous from 1987-1997. Opening tonight at 3-Legged Dog is the world premiere of 3/Fifths, conceived and written by James Scruggs, with direction and dramaturgy by Tamilla Woodard and Kareem Fahmy, and choreographed by Andre M. This evening of short plays exploring the themes of race, religion, sexual identity, and social otherness begins previews on March 10 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at The A.R.T./New York Theatres.
