Keen Company's spring production of BOY, featuring Bobby Steggert, Heidi Armbruster, Paul Niebanck, and Rebecca Rittenhouse, opens tonight Off-Broadway at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row.

BOY, a co-production with the Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Ensemble Studio Theatre (William Carden, Artistic Director, Paul A. Slee, Executive Director)/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Project (Doron Weber, Vice President, Programs and Program Director), begins performances tonight, February 23rd, with opening night set for March 10th.

Following its hit production of No More Sad Things, Sideshow Theatre Company is pleased to continue its 2015/16 Season with the world premiere of David Jacobi's chilling new drama MAI DANG LAO, directed by artistic associate Marti Lyons, playing March 6 - April 10, 2016 at Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. CoHo Productions' 20th Season continues with a new stage adaptation of Charlotte Perkins Gilman's THE YELLOW WALLPAPER, one of the most important American short stories of the 19th century. This world premiere production will integrate expressionistic audio, visual and movement interludes with the haunting literary text. Sue Mach's adaptation, conceived by Grace Carter and directed by Philip Cuomo, features Carter, Chris Harder and Christy Bigelow. The production runs tonight, January 13 - February 6, 2016.

 Previews for WAM Theatre's mainstage production of Holy Laughter by Catherine Trieshmann start on Thursday, October 29 and run through Saturday, October 31 at 7:30 pm at the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center at 36 Linden Street in Pittsfield. Tickets for preview performances are just $18. This developmental workshop production officially opens at the 2 pm performance on Sunday, November 1, and continues performances Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2 & 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm through November 22. The production is recommended for ages 13 and up.

As usual, WAM Theatre is offering a variety of audience enrichment events in conjunction with their fall MainStage production. This year's events include a lobby display featuring this year's beneficiaries, talkbacks with the cast and design team and a writing workshop on comedy with the playwright.

The Theatre Company at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts is proud to announce the four selected playwrights for the 2016 Colorado New Play Summit. This poignant comedy follows Abigail, an Episcopal priest who finds that the reality of leading a church is radically and hilariously different than what she learned in seminary. Hymns, liturgical dance and a wicked tongue lift playwright Catherine Trieschmann's antic portrait of a small, struggling congregation to comic heights. This will be the first workshop production of this new play, which is still in development.

WAM Theatre has announced the casting for their fall production of Holy Laughter by Catherine Trieschmann. The production will be directed by Megan Sandberg-Zakian and opens on November 1, on the St. Germain Stage at Barrington Stage Company's Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center in Pittsfield.
