South Coast Repertory's Theatre for Young Audiences Series Closes with THE NIGHT FAIRY

A very small fairy encounters very big creatures in South Coast Repertory's final production of the Theatre for Young Audiences series: a new adaptation by John Glore of Newbery Medal-winning author Laura Amy Schlitz's book "The Night Fairy." The production runs May 24-June 9 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Schlitz's book is illustrated by Angela Barrett and published by Candlewick Press. Learn more online: http://www.thenightfairy.com.

Sand Story Artist Joe Castillo Comes to the King Center Tonight

A simple trip to a local home improvement store for a 'honey-do' list took Sand Story artist Joe Castillo into the homes of 23 million viewers as he became a finalist on the popular America's Got Talent television show. Now Castillo comes to Melbourne, Florida to perform at The King Center for the Performing Arts tonight, May 3rd at 7pm.

CARMEN'S PLACE (A FANTASY) Opens at Castillo Theatre Tonight

What happens when the squares of Seville meet the streets of New York? Find out tonight, April 26 when Carmen's Place (A Fantasy) opens at the Castillo Theatre on 42nd Street, running until June 16. Featuring some of opera's best-loved music as well as six original musical numbers, Carmen's Place (A Fantasy) is helmed by the 2012 AUDELCO Award winner for directing, Gabrielle L. Kurlander, whose production of Sally and Tom (The American Way) was a popular and critical success at Castillo last season.

EL SENOR DE LOS CIELOS Scores Second Highest Novella Premiere on Telemundo

On the heels of the second highest-rated novela premiere in the network's history, Telemundo Media's original production "El Señor de los Cielos" (The Lord of the Skies, M-F 10pm ET) delivered the second highest-rated premiere week in the network's history averaging 2,385,000 total viewers and 1,504,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. A co-production between Telemundo Studios and Caracol TV featuring novela stars Rafael Amaya, Ximena Herrera, Fernanda Castillo and Gabriel Porras, 'El Señor de los Cielos" delivered on premiere week a 37% share of total viewers and a 43% share of adults 18-49 among major Spanish language broadcast networks in its time period. The original novela also fueled the network's prime time performance to record levels delivering its highest-rated Monday-Friday prime delivery with regular programming among total viewers in the network's history (1,817,000).

24th STreet Theatre continues its 15th Anniversary Season with Huraclown, an international co-production from Mexico sponsored by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and starring acclaimed clown Aziz Gual. Series Premiere of Telemundo's EL SENOR DE LOS CIELOS Draws Over 2.3 Million Viewers

Last night's premiere of Telemundo Media's new original production 'El Señor de los Cielos' (Lord of the Skies) at 10pm ET averaged 2,346,000 total viewers and 1,437,000 adults 18-49 according to Nielsen, ranking as the network's second highest rated premiere regardless of time period in NPM history, right behind the runaway hit 'La Reina del Sur.' A co-production between Telemundo Studios and Caracol TV featuring novela stars Rafael Amaya, Ximena Herrera, Fernanda Castillo and Gabriel Porras, 'El Señor de los Cielos' delivered a 42% share of adults 18-49 and 40% share of total viewers among major Spanish language broadcast networks in its time period. The much anticipated premiere reached a cumulative audience of nearly 3 million viewers, including 1,860,000 adults 18-49.
