Special invitational presentations of THE MUSEUM OF BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS, a new musical featuring Tony winner Jessie Mueller and inspired by the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia, are set for today (Monday) and tomorrow in Manhattan. Music is by Daniel Green, with book, lyrics & direction by David H. Bell.

Broadway Dreams is expanding its international programming to include New Zealand with a nine-day program, January 14 - January 21, 2018. The internationally renowned arts education non-profit will bring its unique brand of performing arts training to Takapuna School in Aukland, NZ.

Andy Coxon plays the iconic role of Berger in the new 50th anniversary production of HAIR. National Alliance for Musical Theatre announces additional casting for the 29th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20, 2017 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). The Festival kicks off on Wednesday, October 18 with its celebrated concert, The 46th Minute.

On Monday, October 9, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway and TV star Hlene Yorke. Helene made her Broadway debut in 2008 in GREASE. She went on to originate the role of Olive in BULLETS OVER BROADWAY and Evelyn in AMERICAN PSYCHO. On television, she is well known for her work on THE GOOD FIGHT, MASTERS OF SEX, and GRAVES.

The Hit Men return to Stage One with Time Travel Tour, an all new show including performances of Number 1 hits not included in their original show, plus a new multimedia presentation. The first North American tour of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE begins tonight, October 7, 2017 in Schenectady, New York at Proctors. The tour will have its official opening October 17, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at The Hippodrome Theatre.
