The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's® 12th Season continued this week with The Broadway Musicals of 1975 on Monday, May 14th. 1975 was a year that brought us famous shows by musical theater icons including Marvin Hamlisch, (A Chorus Line), John Kander and Fred Ebb (Chicago), and Richard O'Brien (The Rocky Horror Show), among others. Produced by The Town Hall, The Broadway Musicals of 1975 was created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel. Casting for The Broadway Musicals of 1975 included Ashley Brown, Lari White, Bob Stillman, Maya Days, Scott Coulter, Carole J. Bufford, Patrick Page and more.

Fast-Rising Cabaret Stars Will Dazzle Royal Room Fans from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day: Carole J. Carole J. Bufford Stars in SPEAK EASY with Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, 5/5-5/24

The singer Carole J. Bufford sings about the "dry" years in SPEAK EASY, her new Prohibition-era show running at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, from May 5 to 24. Backed by the Grammy Award-winning jazz-age band, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, Bufford pours out classics made famous by Sophie Tucker, Al Jolson, Bessie Smith, Louis Armstrong, Helen Kane, Annette Hanshaw and more.

On Monday night, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present the return of "Eleven O'Clock Numbers," a musical revue that ran for eight months at Feinstein's at The Regency. Starring it's original stars Christina Bianco, Carole J. Bufford and Scott Coulter, the show featured show-stopping Broadway songs from the 1930's to the present. Once again, Scott Siegel produced the evening, and John Fischer musical directed. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the concert event below!

Jim Caruso's Cast Party packed Birdland with a huge variety of talent on Monday night. The weekly open mic, recently called 'the best party in the universe' by the Australian Cabaret Confidential, was the place for Broadway folk like Amra-Faye Wright (currently starring as Velma in Chicago), supperclub star Clint Holmes (in rehearsal for his upcoming Café Carlyle run), country legend Larry Gatlin, jazz superstars Jane Monheit, Natalie Douglas and Sachal Vasandani, publicist and birthday boy Richard Hillman, 'Broadway Beat' host Richie Ridge, musical director/pianist Ron Abel, cabaret folks like Scott Coulter and Carole J. Bufford (this Monday's11 O'Clock Numbers revue at Birdland), and regulars Allana Adderly, Daniel Kirkley, Matthew Falber, William Blake, and LA diva Valarie Pettiford!

As in weeks past, this cast performed Broadway show tunes in the new series that changes every Thursday night with a new cast singing entirely different songs every week.
