Photo Preview: 'A Tale of Two Cities' in Pre-Broadway Debut

Jill Santoriello's sweeping new musical epic world premiere pre-Broadway try-out of A Tale of Two Cities opens October 26 and October 27 at the Asolo Repertory Theatre's mainstage, The Harold E. and Esther M. Mertz Theatre in Sarasota, Florida (5555 North Tamiami Trail), with performances through November 18.

The new production of Cyrano de Bergerac, Edmond Rostand's 1897 romantic classic, with a translation and adaptation by Anthony Burgess began previews on Friday, October 12, 2007 with an opening night set for Thursday, November 1, 2007. The production will play a strictly limited 10-week engagement at the Richard Rodgers Theater, 226 W. 46th Street.

Smith's 'Good Heif' World Premieres at New Georges 10/6

New Georges, the OBIE-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present the world premiere of American playwright Maggie Smith's peculiar fable Good Heif, a full-length play, directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde. Good Heif will be presented in SoHo at the Ohio Theatre. Previews begin October 6, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, October 8 at 7PM. Performances will run through Saturday, October 27.
