The Irish Repertory Theatre presents the critically-acclaimed revival of THE WEIR by Conor McPherson, directed by Ciaran O'Reilly. The thrice-extended production, which opened on May 23rd, will continue at the Irish Repertory's Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage (132 West 22nd Street) through Sunday, September 15th.

Timmy The Great bills itself as 'a madcap musical for revolutionaries of all ages.' One could easily interpret this as meaning: It's for children from the Upper West Side. Actually, there's much here that anyone could enjoy. The show, based on a 1999 children's book about a kingdom where the adults and children switch roles, is stuffed full -- too full -- of lively dancing, tuneful songs and inspired clowning.

Storyville will have played 8 preview and 27 regular performances.

Timmy the Great is a new musical based on the children's book King Timmy the Great by Sandra Hochman and Tad Danielak, (which was inspired by the Polish martyr, Janusz Korshak's, book 'King Matt The First'). Book & Lyrics are by poet, novelist, journalist, Sandra Hochman (Yale Younger Poets Award, and twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize); Gary Kupper ('Freckle Face Strawberry') has composed the music; and Edward Pierce is the production consultant.
