Calling all Elvis fans! Put on your Blue Suede Shoes and celebrate Elvis' birthday at MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET at Harrah's Las Vegas today, Jan. 8. The first 100 guests who dress as The King of Rock 'n' Roll will receive a complimentary ticket to that evening's 7 p.m. performance.

The national tour of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock 'n' roll icons: Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash, will make its premiere at Omaha's Orpheum Theater Tuesday, February 18, 2014. The show is part of the Omaha Performing Arts' Broadway Series and will run through Sunday, February 23, 2014.

Million Dollar Quartet, now the longest-running Broadway musical production in Chicago's history, is celebrating the holidays by adding performance dates and a special number for a limited time. For the holidays only, the classic 1958 song 'Run, Run, Rudolph' has been added to the finale of the show.

Casting has been announced for the National Tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock 'n' roll icons, which is entering its third smash year on the road. The tour will play over 75 cities this season including the State Theatre in Easton on Wednesday, January 22nd.

Performing on the 57th anniversary of the actual date that inspired the hit show, Dec. 4, 1956, Holly sang 'The Lady Loves Me' from the hit movie 'Viva Las Vegas' alongside the cast during the finale. Donning a stunning dress and period hair, Holly sang a beautiful and fun rendition of the Elvis and Ann-Margret duet that had the audience on their feet, clapping and cheering. The McCallum Theatre has given the Coachella Valley another reason to be thankful this holiday weekend by presenting the stellar national tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET through December 1. As anyone who has read my previous reviews knows, I am a big fan of Mitch Gershenfeld and The McCallum Theatre for its ever-marvelous slate of offerings to the desert theatre-going community, and this production is no exception. I wish I had a million superlatives to equal the high caliber production that opened last evening for a "too-limited engagement".
