Hot Hip Hilarious New Show Comes Exclusively to Broadway's Biggest Web Site BroadwayWorld.com, the world's largest theatre site on the net, is thrilled to announce the launch of the site's first, exclusive, fully scripted program series - SUBMISSIONS ONLY. Created, written, and directed by Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger, they also star in the series which enjoyed an extremely successful Season 1 on YouTube, and is now available for streaming throughout the summer on BroadwayWorld.com as a lead in to the highly anticipated Season 2 launch, which will be available for viewing exclusively on BroadwayWorld TV.

A 2-part extravaganza will be held featuring the world premiere of 'THE REAL LOVE,' a unique musical, as well as American icon Don McLean in concert. This exciting event is in celebration of Supreme Master Television's 5th anniversary of all-constructive global programming.

CAP 21 Theatre Company presents SOUTHERN COMFORT, a new musical by Dan Collins (book and lyrics) and Julianne Wick Davis (music), based on Kate Davis' 2001 Sundance award-winning documentary about transgender friends in rural Georgia. Co-starring Annette O'Toole and Jeff McCarthy, previews begin October 5, prior to its official press opening October 6 at the CAP21 Black Box Theater (18 West 18th Street) in Manhattan. Tom Caruso (ZOMBIE, MIMI LE DUCK) directs.

On Monday, June 25, 2011, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly platform, now in its 4th year, for emerging musical theatre writers at The Duplex (the series usually plays the Daryl Roth D-Lounge, by will play The Duplex for the summer). Featured writers for the July 25th installment include Mark Sutton Smith (Stand By The River), and Daniel Green. Executive Producers for NYTB in the D-Lounge are Laura Brandel and Karen Marshall.

The Ivoryton Playhouse will be flaunting it in full Broadway style when it opens The Producers on July 6. Complete with dancing girls and show-stopping numbers, The Producers was one of the hottest tickets on Broadway when it opened at the St. James Theatre on April 19, 2001.

Tony winner Nikki M. James has joined the line-up for Friends With Benefits: My High School Musical July 24 at the Metropolitan Room. At the event, some of Broadway's brightest stars will share their high school musical experience and then sing a song from the show. The festivities begin at 7PM.

The production starred Reed Birney, Jordan Coughtry, Sue Cremin, David Furr, Cady Huffman, Simon Jones, Andrea Marcovicci, Emily Skinner, Steven Skybell, Robert Stanton, Lindsay Torrey, Lenny Wolpe and was narrated by Michael Musto of The Village Voice.
