Following two Edinburgh runs and the UK tour of JOAN, Milk Presents launch their brand new show BULLISH at the Camden People's Theatre. Co-created between Lucy J Skilbeck and an ensemble of queer, trans and drag performers, BULLISH uses the myth of the Minotaur to explore contemporary identity and our fear of otherness, through the lens of mythology's hottest queer character.

The Old Vic today announces casting for Queers, a series of eight monologues curated by Mark Gatiss. Staged on 28 and 31 July at The Old Vic, they mark 50 years since the Sexual Offences Act of 1967 began the decriminalisation process for homosexuality between men. Queers celebrates some of the most poignant, funny, tragic and riotous moments of British gay male history over the last century.

Theatres in Hammersmith and Fulham received a major boost as Arts Council England confirmed that it will invest £7.1million locally to support the Bush Theatre and the Lyric Hammersmith. The two theatres were awarded four-year investment from Arts Council England for 2018 to 2022 following a national review of arts funding in the UK.

The full cast are now announced for David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers and Take That's UK Tour of Tim Firth's new musical, THE BAND, with the music of Take That.

James Graham's critically acclaimed and prescient political drama THIS HOUSE which played to sold-out houses at the National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre and in the West End will begin its first ever national tour at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds.

On Sunday June 9 London's newest venue, the yet to be opened Playground Theatre, will host an evening of entertainment, talks and refreshment's in support of those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, staged by local participatory theatre company S.P.I.D. Theatre. 

King's Head Theatre, London has announced casting for the 35th anniversary production of Coming Clean, Kevin Elyot's first play, directed by Artistic Director of King's Head Theatre, Adam Spreadbury-Maher.  The production, which will run at the King's Head Theatre from 25 July to 26 August 2017, with a press night on Friday 28 July, will star Lee Knight as Tony, Elliot Hadley as William/Jurgen, Tom Lambert as Robert and Jason Nwoga as Greg. 

Funny Girl, which enjoyed critically acclaimed and record-breaking sold-out runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Savoy Theatre, returns to Manchester Palace Theatre in August to complete its national tour. Playing opposite Sheridan Smith is Darius Campbell as Nick Arnstein.
