Te newest online auction from Charitybuzz offers a chance to meet the five-time Grammy nominee.

Just yesterday, Tony-winning star Jessie Mueller and Grammy-nominated composer/lyricist Sara Bareilles and the cast of WAITRESS stopped by Manhattan's Upper East Side Barnes & Noble (150 E. 86th Street) , to celebrate the release of the show's cast album. The company not only performed songs from the show, but signed CDs for fans, and you can check out photos from the special day below!

Grammy-nominated composer/lyricist Sara Bareilles, who made her Broadway debut last season with her Tony-nominated score for the hit musical WAITRESS, hosted a sampler of songs from the show at Manhattan's Upper East Side Barnes & Noble at yesterday's CD signing event.

Today in 2007, the second Broadway revival of Grease opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, where it ran for 554 performances. Grease is a 1971 musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. The musical is named for the 1950s United States working-class youth subculture known as the greasers. The musical, set in 1959 at fictional Rydell High School (loosely based on William Howard Taft School), follows ten working-class teenagers as they navigate the complexities of love, cars, and drive-ins.

Jenna Ushkowitz made her Broadway debut as a child in the 1996 revival of THE KING AND I and came back as a swing in the original production of SPRING AWAKENING.

Based upon the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, Waitress began performances on March 25 and opened April 24 at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). According to the New York Post, Broadway James M. Nederlander passed away last night, July 25. He was 94 years old.
