Amanda Green & Tom Kitt & Friends at BIRDLAND, 1/24 and 1/31

The Winter Season, a series of 7pm Monday night concerts at BIRDLAND featuring top Broadway and cabaret performers, continues with composer/lyricists Amanda Green & Tom Kitt, who will be performing their original songs January 24th and 31st at 7pm. The duo will be joined by special guest stars Brooks Ashmanskas, Mario Cantone, Jenn Colella, Gavin Creel, Jerry Dixon, Matt McGrath, Julia Murney, Greg Naughton, Alice Ripley, Amy Spanger and the Tom Kitt Band. The writing team is currently adapting the popular book and film High Fidelity for the Broadway stage as a musical, and will premiere several songs from the musical during the concert.

Santo Loquasto won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for BULLETS OVER BROADWAY. This is Santo Loquasto's 12th Tony nomination for scenic design. Loquasto received a Tony Award in 1989 for his scenic design work on Café Crown. He has also been nominated seven times for costume design, winning twice.
