Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its second main stage production of the 2014 season, Hunting and Gathering, which will be produced in collaboration with Theatre TCU. Lydia Mackay, Garret Storms, Kelsey Summers, and Sam Swanson will star in this comedy, running Thursday, April 10 through Sunday, May 4 at Amphibian's Berlene T. & Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at 120 S. Main Street. Harry Parker, Chair of TCU's Department of Theatre will direct the production.

Primary Stages, Daryl Roth, and Ted Snowdon in association with Jamie deRoy has announced a two week extension for The Tribute Artist, a new world premiere comedy written by and starring Tony-nominee Charles Busch (The Divine Sister, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Olive and the Bitter Herbs). Primary Stages has announced that their annual Gala will take place Monday, November 11, 2013 at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The event will honor Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang and President of the General Counsel at Dramatists Play Service, Stephen Sultan. The Gala Chairs are Catherine Adler and HBO. The Tony nominated star of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Kristine Nielsen, will offer a tribute to Mr. Durang. Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley will offer a tribute to Mr. Sultan.
