ELF THE MUSICAL Comes to Milwaukee For the Holidays!

NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features, bring the Broadway musical ELF to the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 29 at 10:00 am for performances November 22 to November 27.

BROADWAY BALANCES AMERICA Returning for Third Season on Lifetime

The Balancing Act, the award-winning morning show on the Lifetime Channel, has announced that it has begun shooting the third season of its six-part series, Broadway Balances America, sponsored by Broadway Across America.  The series will launch August 8, 2016.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON , which played a sold out two-week run in 2015 returns to Milwaukee for a one-week only limited engagement on October 25-30 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Single tickets will go on sale Friday, July 15 at 10:00 am. South Shore Theater Company Names New Executive Director & Artistic Director

THE BAY COLONY SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, the fastest-growing professional theatre company on the South Shore of Boston, today announced the appointment of Eric Joseph, 56, to the position of President and Executive Director. Mr. Joseph joins the BCSC after returning from New York City as the Senior Vice President of Sponsorship and Marketing for Clear Channel Entertainment and Broadway Across America, where he was responsible for securing and overseeing sponsorship and marketing extensions of Clear Channel's Broadway investments and subsequent tours in over 50 markets. Mr. Joseph, a Marshfield resident raised in Cohasset, MA, will assume responsibility for the funding and administration of the BCSC immediately and takes the reins from retiring Founder and Artistic Director, Neil McGarry, who is departing the area with his family. Mr. McGarry will return to perform his one-man version of "A Christmas Carol" over the 2016 holidays and continue to work as an actor with the BCSC when in the area.

Breaking News: Tony-Winning THE HUMANS Will Move to the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre to Extend Run

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that, on the heels of winning four Tony Awards including Best Play, The Humans will move into Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) to extend its limited run. The Humans will play its first performance in its new home on Tuesday, August 9. It will play its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Sunday, July 24, and then take a two-week hiatus to allow for the move. As previously announced, the Hayes is set to undergo significant renovations beginning in August.

Fox Theatricals Brings Home Tony Award as a Producer of THE HUMANS

St. Louis' own Fox Theatricals received a 2016 Tony® Award as a producer of THE HUMANS, a new Broadway play by Stephan Karam.  THE HUMANS received a total of four 2016 Tony nominations:  Best Play,  Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play (Reed Birney), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play (Jayne Houdyshell) and Best Scenic Design of a Play (David Zinn).  The show received additional nominations for Best Lighting Design of a Play (Justin Townsend) and Best Direction of a Play (Joe Mantello).

Rubicon Theatre Co-Founder James O'Neil, who became Artistic Director Emeritus last year to develop new works for commercial production as President of Off-Broadway Across America, returns to the Rubicon stage later this month as an actor. Beginning May 25, O'Neil plays one of the most intriguing and controversial characters of 19th- and 20th-century America in David Rintels' compelling one-man play Clarence Darrow. Clarence Darrow began performances on Wednesday, May 25, opened on Saturday, May 28 at 7pm and will continue through Sunday, June 12 at the Rubicon Theatre, 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura.
