The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the return of Million Dollar Quartet in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater from September 24 to October 6, 2013. Back by popular demand the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four Rock 'n' Roll icons is directed by Eric Schaeffer and features a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux.

New casting has been announced for the National Tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock 'n' roll icons, which is entering its third smash year on the road. The tour will play over 75 cities next year including: Boston, San Diego, Denver, Nashville and many more.

SAN ANTONIO (August 19, 2013) - Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony Award winning musical play written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, will play the Majestic Theatre for eight performances October 22-27. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., tomorrow, Friday, August 23.

Omaha Performing Arts received a special tribute from Disney Theatrical Productions to commemorate years of successful engagements in Omaha, including the recent record-breaking return of Disney's THE LION KING. Omaha is one of the first cities in the United States to receive this recognition. A handcrafted lioness mask was specially made for the occasion and is a replica of the one originally created by renowned designer, Michael Curry and the Tony-Award winning director of Disney's The Lion King, Julie Taymor. This rare award is Disney's method of honoring outstanding achievement by the presenting organizations in markets where the production has played.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer) will present two free staged readings of 'notes to MariAnne', a new musical by David Rossmer and Dan Lipton, directed by Leigh Silverman. The readings will take place on Thursday, September 12th at 1:00pm and 4:30pm, at The Steve and Marie Sgouros Theatre (formerly The Players Loft), 115 MacDougal Street. THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Tuesday, September 3 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston and plays a limited two week engagement through Sunday, September 15. In Houston, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office before each performance, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece, cash only.

The producers of the Tony Award winning new Broadway production of PIPPIN have announced that four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will play the role of 'Berthe' on Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 20 through Sunday, August 25 while two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin is on vacation. Ms. Martin returns to the role full-time on Tuesday, August 27. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).
