THE ACTORS FUND Presents the 14th Annual TONY Awards Party Honoring Brian Stokes Mitchell, With Host Tommy Tune and Presenter Annette Bening.

Big band sound transforms the Lincoln Theatre into a Duke Ellington jazz club as Arena Stage presents Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies, choreographed by and starring Maurice Hines (Broadway's Sophisticated Ladies and Uptown... It's Hot!) with direction by Charles Randolph-Wright (Arena's Guys and Dolls and Blue).

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will present the 24th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition on Monday, April 26 (4:30 PM) and Tuesday, April 27 (2 PM) at the Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th Street). The proceeds from the event will benefit BC/EFA.

Mitzi Gaynor, Michael Cerveris, Matthew Modine, Brooke Shields, Rosie Perez, Leslie Jordan and Corbin Bleu were announced by Executive Producer Robert R. Blume as the first group of presenters lined up for the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center.

According to Variety, the fifth annual A Fine Romance benefit will be presented by the Motion Picture & Television Fund on May 1. The event will be hosted by Hugh Jackman at the Fox Lot and will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Adam Shankman will direct, with musical direction by John Mauceri.

Two stars of stage and screen will be on hand on Tuesday morning, May 4 to announce the nominations for the American Theatre Wing's 2010 Tony Awards. Jeff Daniels, a 2009 Tony Award-nominee for his performance in God of Carnage, joins 'Glee' and Spring Awakening star Lea Michele to do the honors in a live webcast on TonyAwards.com.

Star of stage, television and film Maurice Hines makes a special, week long visit to D.C. this October to lead two FREE master classes and hold an open dance audition to kick off work as the choreographer and lead performer in Arena Stage's musical revue Sophisticated Ladies, running April 15 - May 30, 2010 at the Lincoln Theatre.

The Actors Fund celebrated the close of a year-long $10.1 million special campaign last evening at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, 1535 Broadway. Proceeds from the gala evening brought the grand total raised for the entertainment charity to $10.8 million.

THE ACTORS FUND will honor Tony Award Winner Brian Stokes Mitchell at their 14th Annual Tony Awards Party with the Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement. The gala features the only live feed in Los Angeles of the Tony Awards as they happen in New York. Marc Cherry, creator/producer of 'Desperate Housewives' and David Rambo, producer/writer is 'CSI' will produce and write this event.
