CALEB CHAPMAN'S CRESCENT SUPER BAND Comes to Carnegie Hall, 5/21

Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) presents Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band, twenty-five extraordinarily talented young musicians from Utah, in their Carnegie Hall debut. An exhilarating phenomenon of youthful energy and inspired musicality, the Crescent Super Band has stunned audiences worldwide, from New York to the Netherlands, performing hip, intelligent arrangements of the American standards for thousands. On Tuesday, May 21 at 8:00pm at Carnegie Hall, the Crescent Super Band will perform a program from the Great American Songbook repertoire featuring music from legendary performances at Carnegie Hall. The boisterous night on one of the world's greatest stages will feature special guests, saxophonist David Sanborn, trumpet player Wayne Bergeron, the high energy jump swing of The Voodoo Orchestra and hot Latin jazz ensemble La Onda Caribeña, in a program featuring new music from John Clayton, Greg Yasinitsky, Russell Schmidt, Sam Cardon, and Greg Hansen.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party continues to dazzle packed houses of showbiz insiders and the folks who love them every Monday night at the historic music room, Birdland. This past week, Carol Woods, currently Mama Morton in Chicago on Broadway, delighted the audience with a soulful performance of 'God Bless The Child,' and her co-workers, Amra-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly) and Patrick Rinn led the applause. BergenPAC Annual Toy Drive with Englewood Fire Department Runs Through 12/19

Englewood Fire Department and Bergen Performing Arts Center are teaming up again to collect TOYS for children in need Bergen County with bergenPAC's November 25th performance of kids show, ImaginOcean, and continuing through the holidays, bergenPAC will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to be distributed to area children. Toys will be collected at Jim Brickman (November 28th ), Video Games Live (November 29th), New Jersey Ballet's The Nutcracker performances(December 1st and 2nd), Brian Setzer Orchestra (December 5th ), Judy Collins with Jimmy Webb (December 8th), Audra Rox Live!(December 9th), and A Christmas Carol (December 15th) , Chef Robert Irvine" (December 16th) and Kenny Rogers with special guest Billy Dean (December 19th).

Due today, October 30 on Warner Bros Records, Only Time Can Tell is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Hinds' acclaimed 2011 debut Don't Shiver, You're A Winner which SPIN dubbed 'a welcome departure from Mastodon's thrashy, progged-out fare...sounds like Tom Waits and Tim Burton co-hosting the creepiest vaudeville show ever,' and Pitchfork lauded for its 'playfulness and off-the-cuff amiability.'

STAGE TUBE: Epic Mickey 2 Video Game to Feature Musical Score

Emmy-winning composer Jim Dooley and lyricist Mike Himelstein have written the score (Dooley) and the songs (Dooley & Himelstein) for the first video game musical: Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. Epic Mickey 2 is the first video game to use songs to drive the story forward, and one of the lead characters (the mad doctor) only communicated via song. Fireworks Finale Weekend at the Hollywood Bowl Lineup Announced

Three-time Grammy-winner and "musician's musician" Brian Setzer and his 18-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra come to the Hollywood Bowl for three nights of their innovative musical style, Friday and Saturday, September 14 and 15, at 8 pm, and Sunday, September 16, at 7:30 pm. For the first time, he and his big band will be joined by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, led by Thomas Wilkins in such hits as "Stray Cat Strut," "Jump Jive An' Wail," "Rock this Town." These evenings of memorable performances are capped with the summer season finale of the Hollywood Bowl's dazzling fireworks show.

Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas to Open April 14 at Tropicana Las Vegas

Fresh off of its Season 14 launch, Dancing with the Stars, ABC's leading entertainment show, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, is bringing a production exclusively to the New Tropicana Las Vegas. The live show, directed by Amy Tinkham and choreographed by Australian sensation Jason Gilkison, kicks off a 12-week run beginning Saturday, April 14.
