Next Theatre Company is proud to announce their current production of the Midwest premiere of J.T. Rogers' Madagascar, directed by Kimberly Senior, is extended one week. The added performances are Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m., at Next Theatre, 927 Noyes Street in Evanston. The regular performance schedule is Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 and 19 have an added 4 p.m. matinee. The Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) at Northwestern University will present three productions in its new Masters-in-the-Making series staged by the theatre directors of tomorrow. The winter plays, part of TIC's 2009-10 mainstage season, represent the final thesis productions of third-year students in the Northwestern School of Communication's MFA Directing Program.
A drama about an American bomber pilot stranded in a war-torn country and a rock musical based on The Who's iconic concept album "Tommy" (1969) will be presented in February by the Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) at Northwestern University.
