Dance to Unite presents the 3rd Annual Benefit: One Way or Anotheron Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 6pm, featuring live music from Debbie Harry at Avenues: The World School, located in Chelsea at 259 Tenth Avenue, NYC, 10001. The evening will be a celebration of artistic excellence and cultural diversity to benefit Dance to Unite's expanding free after-school dance and education programs. This year, Dance to Unite proudly honors Jenny Morgenthau, who recently retired after 32 years as the Executive Director of the Fresh Air Fund. As part of the celebration, students of Dance to Unite will perform to music icon and Blondie lead singer, Debbie Harry's biggest hits live. Tickets can be reserved by making a $150 minimum donation per person at http://www.dancetounite.org/events/. The attire will be business casual.

Damn The Light Productions Presents: ICONATHON: Showcase Series Donna Summer & Stevie Nicks Tributes at The Cutting Room. The night will open with a rock radio hits tribute, "The is How We Duet" featuring students selected to participate in DTL's Pop/ Rock performance lab from Marymount Manhattan College's Theatre Arts program. The spring intensive course was funded by The Lerner and Lowe Foundation. It will also feature special guest performances by Shannon Conley (Broadway's Hedwig and The Angry Inch) and Matt- Katz Bohen (Blondie).

Playwright, songwriter and director Randy Sharp (Last Man Club, Edgar Oliver'sEast 10th Street and In the Park)and songwriter, guitarist and longtime Blondie member Paul Carbonara (Blondie) have teamed up again to create Evening - 1910, a new musical about an immigrant to 1910 New York and a Bowery theater facing eviction as the dawn of cinema becomes day. Axis Company, of which Sharp is the founding Artistic Director, will present the world premiere of the work April 28 - May 28.
