Grammy Award-winning Riverdance composer Bill Whelan returns to the Irish Arts Center for AN EVENING WITH BILL WHELAN along with world-renowned fiddler Athena Tergis, an orchestra and special guests including singer Morgan Crowley and Irish dancer Mick Donegan, for four performances only, Saturday, October 29 through Tuesday, November 1, nightly at 7:30 PM. The Irish Arts Center is located at 553 West 51 Street.

Bryn Mawr College's Performing Arts Series moves into high gear for the 2011-2012 season as it presents five music, dance, and theatre performances that have never been seen or heard in the region. The season begins with a celebrated Celtic singer, the Philadelphia area premiere of a highly touted one-man New York theatre sensation, and a renowned classical quartet. The season will close with the remount of a groundbreaking John Jasperse Company piece and a rare performance with the women of the exhilarating Rennie Harris Puremovement, in a program put together just for the college.
