It all started with a book written by a genius named Victor Hugo. Today, 150 years later, the story lives on in the musical, LES MISÉRABLES. Its recent run in Austin, Texas was a complete sell-out as it has been wherever it goes. Seeing it one time is fabulous, but seeing it multiple times from different angles helps you to really understand the story, the theatrics and the massive talent performing on the stage.

Cameron Mackintosh's new 25th anniversary production of Les Miserables welcomes Peter Lockyer to the role of Jean Valjean beginning in East Lansing, MI, at Wharton Center on April 5, 2012. This week also marks the debut of Timothy Gulan as Thenardier, Lauren Wiley as Cosette, and Jason Forbach as Enjolras. The all new production of Les Miserables features glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. The production plays Wharton Center through April 8 followed by Indianapolis, IN at Clowes Memorial Hall April 10-15 and Greenville, SC at The Peace Center April 17-22.

COMPASSION!, MASTER CLASS and RAGTIME, Terrence McNally, Circle Theatre's production of THE RITZ opened on February 15th.When straight businessman Gaetano Proclo discovers he's being pursued by the mob, he unwittingly takes cover in a gay bathhouse with an increasingly bizarre and endearing cast of characters. He takes on the guise of a Broadway producer to further hide his identity and farcical merriment ensues.
