David Lindsay-Abaire Pens DreamWorks 'The Guardians'

Variety reports this morning that Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony nominated Rabbit Hole and Shrek: The Musical scribe, David Lindsay-Abaire, is set to adapt the upcoming series of 'The Guardians,' based on the children's books by William Joyce for DreamWorks Animation.

SHORTS: DAVID LINDSAY-ABAIRE will play the VoxBox Theatre beginning tonight through November 7th. The play combines three one act plays by writer David Lindsay-Abaire, best known for the Pullitzer Prize winning Rabbit Hole and as the book writer for SHREK: THE MUSICAL.

Urban Stages' (Frances Hill, Founder/Artistic Director, Lauren Schmiedel, Managing Director) continues it 25th season celebrating diversity and new works with the March line-up of URBAN STAGES' NEW PLAY READING SERIES. The readings will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout March at 6PM and are FREE to the public. Each reading will be followed by a Q&A with the playwright and cast.
