Pittsburgh CLO Announces Cast for UP AND AWAY

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce the cast of the world premiere of UP AND AWAY, January 25 April 15, 2018 at the CLO Cabaret. As part of its Next Generation Capital Campaign efforts, Pittsburgh CLO debuted a staged reading of this new musical comedy this past spring during New Musicals Weekend at the Benedum Center. Tickets are now available online at CLOCabaret.com, by phone at 412-456-6666 or in person at the Theater Square Box Office. UP AND AWAY is also available as part of a CLO Cabaret Series subscription package.
New Art Exhibit 'Speak Out' Opens at The Braid

Jewish Women's Theatre's first art exhibit of the new year, entitled Speak Out, and running from January 15 to March 5, will feature four artists who use their individual and diverse palettes to speak up for those who have no voice.

In partnership with Oceanside's Bagby Beer Company, NVA will offer readings of three new plays, a playwriting workshop, and a panel discussion geared towards advancing the careers of playwrights, as well as local craft brewery beer tasting.

Catherine Cabeen/Hyphen presents the world premiere of Give Me More, a three-part work exploring the relationship between conditioning, consumption, and self-worth. The program features choreography by Catherine Cabeen, a cast of seven performers, and lighting design by Philip Trevino. Performances will take place Thursday Saturday, January 25 27, at 8pm, at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, in Manhattan.

This reimagining of the company's 2010 Houston production once again stars Kim Tobin-Lehl as the put-upon protagonist, Rachel, and features a strong ensemble cast including former Alley Theatre company member John Feltch; 4th Wall favorites Jennifer Dean and Nick Farco; and Deborah Hope, Kathleen Teodoro, and Zac Kelty in their 4th Wall debuts. Directed by Philip Lehl, Reckless previews November 30th and runs December 1st - 16th at STUDIO 101, Spring Street Studios.
