'A Body of Water' With Cristofer, Lahti and Odeh Begins Performances 10/3 at Primary Stages

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) presents the New York premiere of A Body of Water by Lee Blessing. Maria Mileaf (Going to St. Ives) returns to Primary Stages to direct the three-member cast that features Michael Cristofer (Romeo & Juliet, The Shadow Box) as Moss, Christine Lahti ('Chicago Hope,' The Heidi Chronicles) as Avis and Laura Odeh (The Rivals) as Wren.

New York's eternally boundary-pushing theater company Naked Angels (Geoffrey Nauffts, Artistic Director and Brittany O'Neill, Managing Director) will present the official Off Broadway premiere of Fault Lines, tonight September 30th, 2008. The new play by Stephen Belber is directed by David Schwimmer. Performances began Monday, September 22 at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street). Fault Lines replaces the previously scheduled The Talk by Frank Pugliese, which has been cancelled.

Golden Globe winner Christine Lahti will assume the role of Avis, and Tony Award-winner Michael Cristofer will assume the role of Moss.

Playwrights Horizons Extends Silver's 'Three Changes' ; Hopper to Join Cast

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced that, due to popular demand, it will extend its World Premiere production of THREE CHANGES, a new play by Nicky Silver (Fit to Be Tied at Playwrights Horizons, The Food Chain, Pterodactyls, Raised in Captivity). In addition to the extension starting Tuesday, September 30, the theater company is also adding two special Wednesday matinees on September 10 and September 24, both at 2:30 PM. Tickets for all new performances are now on sale.
