RUINED Extends at MTC Through August 2

Manhattan Theatre Club is pleased to announce the production of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning RUINED has been extended again at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Tickets for the production, directed by Kate Whoriskey, are now on sale through Sunday, August 2.

Ana Gasteyer Joins The Cast Of MTC's THE ROYAL FAMILY On Broadway, Previews Begin 9/15

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce that noted stage and television actress Ana Gasteyer will return to Manahattan Theatre Club to appear as 'Kitty Dean' in the upcoming Broadway production of THE ROYAL FAMILY by George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber featuring direction by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Maritius, Doubt).

MTC To Present New York Premiere Of Bill Cain's EQUIVOCATION, Previews Begin 2/9

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce the New York premiere of Bill Cain's EQUIVOCATION. The limited engagement will begin previews at MTC's New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in preparation for a Tuesday, March 2, 2010 opening night.

Steppenwolf Theatre Launches 2009-2010 Season With FAKE 9/10-11/8

Steppenwolf Theatre Company launches its 2009-2010 season, exploring the theme of belief, with the world premiere of Fake, written and directed by ensemble member Eric Simonson. Fake features ensemble members Kate Arrington, Francis Guinan and Alan Wilder with Coburn Goss and Larry Yando. Fake plays September 10 - November 8, 2009 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted. The press performance is Tuesday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m.

RUINED Extends For Final Time, Will Close 9/6

Manhattan Theatre Club announces the final extension for Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning play RUINED. The play, currently in performances at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street), must play its final performance on Sunday, September 6.

Laura Linney To Star In MTC's TIME STANDS STILL, Opens 01/28/2010

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Laura Linney ('John Adams,' The Savages) will play the lead role in Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming New York premiere of TIME STANDS STILL by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Donald Margulies. The limited engagement, to be directed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (Accent on Youth, Sight Unseen on Broadway, Brooklyn Boy, Dinner with Friends) will begin previews at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in preparation for a Thursday, January 28, 2010 opening night. The production had previously been announced to play MTC's New York City Center - Stage I.

Alfred Uhry Adapts APPLES & ORANGES For The MTC Stage

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) has announced that they have commissioned Tony, Oscar and Pulitzer Prize-winner Alfred Uhry to adapt the best-selling book, 'Apples & Oranges' by Marie Brenner for the stage.
