Jennings And Romero Headline International Cast Of THE PAPARAZZI

Algonquin Theater Productions has announced that veteran theater stars Ken Jennings from the United States and Joaquin Romero from Mexico will be portraying Walter Winchell in the international presentation of the new Al Tapper musical The Paparazzi. The performance will feature casts from both Guadalajara and New York as they tell the tale of The Paparazzi in both English and Spanish. This one night only event will be done at the historic Ellington Room at 400 West 43rd Street, February 28th at 7:30pm.

Disney's ALADDIN Coming To Dallas Summer Musicals June 6-23

Disney Theatrical Productions, Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) and Broadway Across American (BAA) announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 1  at 10 a.m. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Dallas at the Music Hall at Fair Park on Thursday, June 6 for a limited engagement of 3 weeks through Sunday, June 23. 

MEAN GIRLS Comes To Chicago This December

Broadway In Chicago is pleased to announce the First National Tour of Mean Girls the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film will be coming to Broadway In Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited 5-week engagement from December 25, 2019 to January 26, 2020.

The schedule for the 27th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival Presented by Regions Bank was released yesterday exclusively through the Tin Pan South App, and today, the schedule and full list of performers were added to TinPanSouth.com. Close to 400 songwriters in a variety of genres are already scheduled to perform over 90 shows at 10 of Nashville's top music venues March 26-30, 2019.

MCP Kids! To Present Inaugural Show THE GREAT AMERICAN TALENT SHOW

The Monmouth Community Players have announced the inaugural show of their new MCP Kids! Program, in which they will be working to provide theater education and opportunities for acting and technical theater experience for area youth. This first show being produced is titled The Great American Talent Show by Joseph Robinette and is produced through special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Inc, Denver, CO. The performances will be held at historic Cumston Hall today February 22nd at 7pm and Saturday February 23rd at 2pm. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for students. The show is being helmed by local thespian, Danny Gay, whom you may have seen in MCP's The Foreigner, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and more. Gay is very excited to be able to bring a children's theater program to the area.
