Broadway has given the world some of it's greatest songs, but the Broadway beginnings of some classics aren't known to all.

He's back! Ten-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune (that's a well-deserved mouthful!) is collaborating with a Tony-winning playwright on the musical adaptation of a book and major film set in 'the world's fastest-growing film market,' according to Deadline.

Maize & Blue on Broadway is a one-night-only benefit concert on May 16, 2016 at 7PM at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street) to celebrate the University of Michigan and its renowned Musical Theatre Department, as well as honor its longtime chair, Brent Wagner, who is retiring in May after 32 years of being the department's heart and soul.

In addition, at 2 pm on Saturday, April 16 at the Fairmont's Laurel Court Restaurant, Bay Area Cabaret will host a High Tea/High Fashion event celebrating the panache and style that defines The Puppini Sisters.
