The Dramatists Guild of America has announced their DuoLogues seminar series season opener, featuring a conversation between celebrated composers Carol Hall and Peter Mills, occurring Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. The conversation will take place at the Dramatists Guild's New York office, in the Frederick Loewe Room. On November 27 and 28, 2009 Patrick Cassidy will join Shirley Jones, Rebecca Luker, and the National Symphony Orchestra Pops for NSO Pops: The Music of The Music Man. These concert reviews of songs from Meredith Willson's The Music Man will be led by Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch and will also feature the City Choir of Washington. The performances will take place during Thanksgiving weekend in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall on Friday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Saturday, November 28 at 8 p.m.
Preview performances began Saturday, September 12th, for the critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of William Shakespeare's HAMLET with Jude Law in the title role, directed by Michael Grandage.
