The Bushwick Starr to Present William Burke's FURRY! / LA FURIA!

The Bushwick Starr is thrilled to present the Spanish language premiere of FURRY!/LA FURIA!, written and directed by William Burke in special 'Spanglish translation' that tells the story of a street Elmo who rises to power by taking over the streets of 42nd to 46th street by using The Art of War.

Black Swan Announces 2017 Season and Creative Shifts

After celebrating the company's 25th birthday in 2016, we look to the future, while at the same time acknowledge those who have made a significant impact on the company. We fondly farewell our Artistic Director of nine years Kate Cherry, who has programmed the majority of the 2017 season. We are thrilled to honour our Founding Artistic Director Andrew Ross who will direct the rarely seen and engaging absurdist classic - Beckett's Endgame, and welcome our new Artistic Director Clare Watson making her directorial debut with the Swedish romantic horror Let the Right One In.

Colorado Ballet opens its 56th season with 11 performances of the romantic classic Swan Lake, October 7-23, 2016at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's classic score performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra.

The Washington Ballet Adds THEME AND VARIATIONS To 40th Anniversary Celebration, Today

The Washington Ballet (TWB) has added the Finale of George Balanchine's 1947 masterpiece Theme and Variations to its 40th Anniversary Celebration. The work is set to music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and will provide a grand conclusion to a festive evening of performance and video excerpts that celebrate the 40 year history of The Washington Ballet dance company. The special one-night only production features works by Choo San Goh, Septime Webre as well as other favorites from TWB repertoire on September 30, 2016, 8PM at the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. Narrated by Julie Kent, the production includes an emotional and inspirational look back at the people and creative works that have come to define TWB throughout its 40 year history.

Chart-topping Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi returns to Australia with his band in February 2017 to tour his highly anticipated release Elements.
