Moved to action by the troubles facing Haiti's orphaned and injured children after January's devastating earthquake, BB KING BLUES CLUB and THE PATH FUND have joined forces and will be donating 100% of the proceeds of this special benefit concert to UNICEF and Save the Children, organizations working in Haiti to provide safe havens for the thousands of children left homeless by the earthquake.
Concerts for the week of February 21st include George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, TWIZTID with Blaze and Kung Fu Vampire, Godfrey Townsend Band's George Harrison tribute HERE COMES THE SUN, DJ Tour Launch Party, Zep Fest V with Kashmir, Tainted Love, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Michael Patrick's Ring of Fire Band's Birthday Tribute to Johnny Cash.
Bill Frisell, Ron Carter, and Paul Motian - three of the top players on their respective instruments - will take the Blue Note stage in early December for a special series of trio concerts. The three legends recorded an album in 2006 for Nonesuch records under their own name, but rarely play together live. Brought back by popular demand, the group will reunite at the Blue Note from February 23 - 28.

Million Dollar Quartet has announces its new Chicago cast: Emmy Award-winning actor David Lago (Elvis Presley), accomplished musician/performer Lance Lipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis), Chicago musician and actor Gabe Bowling (Carl Perkins), and Jeff Award nominee Sean Sullivan (Johnny Cash). The cast also includes Tim Decker ('Father of Rock 'n' Roll' Sam Phillips) and original Chicago cast members Kelly Lamont (Elvis' girlfriend Dyanne), Billy Shaffer (Fluke/Drummer) and Chuck Zayas (Jay Perkins/Bass).
