“We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered,” a tribute to popular 70s music group The Carpenters, is returning to the Suncoast Showroom May 31 and June 1.

Emmy and Tony award winner and Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee Kristin Chenoweth will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame at this year's Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Saturday, June 21, at 8 pm. Chenoweth first appeared at the Hollywood Bowl for the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular performances in 2001. She later graced the stage in 2007 to present to and perform with that year's Hall of Fame inductee Placido Domingo. And last year, she had her first solo concert at the Bowl in a critically-acclaimed Weekend Spectaculars program.

Buddy is back! For two nights only, Cortland Repertory Theatre will presents a concert by 'The Rave-Ons', America's Traveling Buddy Holly Tribute Band led by Todd Meredith, who starred in CRT's hit 2013 musical 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story'. The concert will be held on Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3 at 7:30 PM at 19 Church Street in Cortland, the former United Community Church. Smokey Joe's Cafe-The Songs of Leiber and Stoller transports audiences to the golden age of rock, rhythm and blues this spring at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Director Randy Johnson returns to Arena Stage following the success of A Night with Janis Joplin (which enjoyed two runs at Arena Stage followed by a subsequent run on Broadway) to helm this Grammy Award-winning tribute to legendary songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, which originally opened on Broadway in 1995 and became the longest running musical revue, topping 2,000 performances. Bursting with hit tunes including 'Hound Dog,' 'Jailhouse Rock,' 'Stand by Me,' 'Love Potion #9' and 'On Broadway,' Smokey Joe's Cafe showcases choreography by Parker Esse (Arena Stage's The Music Man, Oklahoma!) and music direction by Victor Simonson (Center Stage's A Civil War Christmas, Arena Stage's 3 Mo' Divas) and runs April 25-June 8, 2014 in the Fichandler Stage.
