MAURITUS Opens New Season at Cap Stage, 9/23

September 23, 2010 Capital Stage prepares for its sixth season with the opening of the Sacramento Premiere of Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius (maw-rish-uhs). The sixth season will also mark Capital Stage's final season performing on board the Riverboat Delta King. The company recently announced plans for a move to midtown in the Spring of 2011.

Jack Gallagher Appears at B Street in A DIFFERENT KIND OF COOL, 9/19-11/7

A Different Kind of Cool is the first one-man show Jack Gallagher has performed at B Street Theatre since his 2006 hit What He Left. In A Different Kind of Cool Gallagher explores life with his wife and children as they learn to accept each other's differences while facing the challenges of being a modern family.

MTC Presents HAPPY NOW? 11/11-12/5

Marin Theatre Company announces the West Coast premiere of Happy Now? by British playwright Lucinda Coxon. Happy Now? received rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic in London and New York. Jasson Minadakis directs Happy Now? in the Boyer Theatre November 11 through December 5, 2010. Opening night is November 16.

B Street Theatre Presents OLD LOVE, 7/31-9/12

B Street Theatre (2711 B Street) presents OLD LOVE from July 31st to September 12th, with opening night on August 1st. The play was written by Canadian playwright Norm Foster, is directed by Buck Busfield, and features Judy Jean Berns and David Silberman. Tickets are $15 during previews and between $18 and $30 for normal performances with a $5 student rush ticket.
