The Sixth Annual Clive Barnes Awards was a held on a chilly afternoon, at the Walter Reade Theater, Lincoln Center. Winning in the Dance Award--Gabe Stone Shayer, and the Theatre Award went to Dave Thomas Brown. A lovely afternoon to celebrate the late Clive Barnes, The Clive Barnes Foundation, and recognizing talented the finalists and both winners of this humble award.

In this week's edition, we caught up with Sean Grandillo, who stars as 'Voice of Otto/Bass' in Spring Awakening, playing through January 24 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

BroadwayWorld has learned that due to prior commitments, Marlee Matlin and Camryn Manheim will play their final performances in Deaf West Theatre's Broadway production of SPRING AWAKENING on January 10, 2016. Their roles will be filled by Alexandria Wailes and Elizabeth Greene, respectively, and the show will close on January 24 as scheduled.

Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed production of Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's SPRING AWAKENING, directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff, opened on Sunday night, September 27, at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Nominees for the 2015 LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards were announced on Thursday, September 24 on @ This Stage Magazine [ThisStage.la]. This year's Ovation Awards ceremony will take place Monday, November 9 at the Ahmanson Theatre at The Music Center. The curtain will rise at7:30pm.
