As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles. The CW Network has set its fall premiere schedule, launching its fifth broadcast season with 10 hours of original programming of returning favorites and two new series.

Production has begun on 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure,' a Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Emmy Award-winning director Michael Lembeck ('Tooth Fairy,' 'Santa Clause 2' and 'Santa Clause 3.'). Ashley Tisdale stars as the scene-stealing drama queen Sharpay Evans in the role she made so popular in the 'High School Musical' TV movies and feature film. 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure' is scheduled to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel.

According to the report, the film deals with Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale), who attempts to make it on Broadway; however, her dog gets a job before she does.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart, Shirley Knight and Doris Roberts have signed on to lend their talents to Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash-hit Off Broadway show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which has been playing to sold-out houses at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street). Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart and Shirley Knight will join the April cast (March 31 - April 25), and Doris Roberts will join the cast beginning April 28 (through May 23).
