The worldwide smash hit 'rock theatrical', Queen and Ben Elton's We Will Rock You, built around 24 of Queen's biggest hits, opens at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 and will stage seven performances through Sunday, May 25 (a full performance schedule is below). Last night, 7 January 2014, was the opening night for Cirque du Soleil 's award-winning production ofQuidam at the Royal Albert Hall. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced the opening of Andrew Lloyd Webber's all-new stage adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, which will run tonight, Dec. 4-29 at the Ordway in Saint Paul, Minn. This national production features the original music by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg from the 1939 Oscar-winning film, with additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

Today, Variety reports that the Comedy troupe added a further five dates to the run of its live show! The new dates are on July 15-20 next year. Tickets will go on sale Friday.
According to the BBC, The July 1st show went on sale at 10am today in the UK and was in such high demand, that all the tickets were sold out in a mere 43.5 seconds!
