On Monday, Nov. 14th, Acorn TV, the first streaming service specializing in British television, adds the complete series of Hugh Laurie's hilarious pre-House doctor series Fortysomething, co-starring Anna Chancellor (BBC's The Hour); and, the first season of one of Acorn's first-rate, non-British series, the universally acclaimed Canadian series Slings & Arrows, called 'Outrageously Entertaining' (NPR), 'Absolutely addictive' (The New York Times), and 'One of the finest series ever made' (San Francisco Chronicle) and starring Paul Gross (currently in Broadway's 'Private Lives,' Due South), Mark McKinney (The Kids in the Hall), and Rachel McAdams (The Notebook).
Bijan Sheibani will direct Federico García Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba running at the Almeida Theatre from 19 January - 10 March 2012, with press night on 26 January at 7pm.
Richard Eyre will direct Nicholas Wright's compelling new play The Last of the Duchess at Hampstead Theatre. In an upstairs bedroom in a mansion near Versailles, Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor lies near the end of her life. According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for Daily Mail, the production will star Sheila Hancock as Maitre Suzanne Blum and Anna Chancellor as Caroline Blackwood. The production runs October 20 through November 26.
BBC AMERICA is co-producing a new six-part drama series, The Hour, to premiere this summer on BBC AMERICA. Created and written by BAFTA award-winning Abi Morgan (White Girl, Sex Traffic, Brick Lane, Murder), The Hour stars Dominic West(The Wire, The Devil's Whore), Romola Garai (Emma, Atonement) and Ben Whishaw (Bright Star, Criminal Justice, Brideshead Revisited) locked in a highly competitive, sharp witted and passionate love triangle.

The Brooklyn Academy of Music has announced their 2010 season, which will include the Donmar Warehouse's production of Strindberg's CREDITORS, directed by Alan Rickman. The cast will feature Anna Chancellor, Tom Burke and Owen Teale who will remain with the production after the transfer.
Rebecca Pidgeon, Alicia Silverstone and Mary Steenburgen will headline David Mamet's Boston Marriage, which will run from February 8th through March 12th at L.A.'s Geffen Playhouse.
