THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Wednesday, April 15 at 2pm at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco and plays through Saturday, June 27, 2015. In San Francisco, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $29 apiece.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Rita Wilson has temporarily stepped out of Broadway's FISH IN THE DARK for a temporary medical leave. In her absence, the role of 'Brenda' is being played by Glenne Headly. Wilson is set to return to the production on May 5, 2015.

T.R. Knight, Emmy Award nominated actor, will join the cast of Broadway's smash hit comedy It's Only a Play in the role of 'Frank Finger' tonight, March 31, 2015, on the same day that two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane returns to the cast in the role of 'James Wicker', as previously announced. Both will continue with the production through its scheduled closing date of June 7, 2015.

Today, March 17th, Rita Wilson will appear on NBC's TODAY to discuss her new Broadway comedy FISH IN THE DARK.

NBC has announced that actor Jason Biggs will appear on TODAY today, March 16th to discuss his new Broadway play THE HEIDI CHRONICLES.

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that T.R. Knight, Emmy Award nominated actor, will join the cast of Broadway's smash hit comedy It's Only a Play in the role of 'Frank Finger' on March 31, 2015, on the same day that 2-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane returns to the cast in the role of 'James Wicker', as previously announced. Next spring, Tony Award winners Audra McDonald, George C. Wolfe, and Savion Glover will team up to collaborate on SHUFFLE ALONG, Or, The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed, a musical about the events that led to the creation of the groundbreaking Eubie Blake-Noble Sissle musical Shuffle Along. Starring Audra McDonald as the 1920's star Lottie Gee, directed by George C. Wolfe -- with a book written by Wolfe -- and choreographed by Savion Glover, the musical marks the first time that the writer/director and choreographer will have worked together since their 1996 hit Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk. Previews will begin Monday, March 14, 2016. Opening night is Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

NBC has announced that 'The View' host Rosie Perez will visit TODAY today, February 27 to talk about starring in the new Broadway comedy FISH IN THE DARK.

Back by popular demand, the National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record-breaking three-week run in 2013, returns to Cleveland for a strictly limited, one-week run August 25-30, 2015, as part of the KeyBank Broadway Series at Playhouse Square.
