On November 11, the first annual ALL FOR ONE THEATER FESTIVAL will launch a ten-day event that will focus the national theatre community's attention on the SOLO GENRE, a self-supporting, self-contained creative category of entertainment that is rapidly emerging into the lucrative glare of Bi-Coastal industry interest.
Signature Theatre Company has just announced the playwrights participating in the Theatre's new Residency Five initiative, part of the expanded programming that will be presented at Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street, near 10th Avenue), the Company's new Frank Gehry-designed home. The Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University (TIC) presents The State(s) of America: The Regina Taylor Project, a one-weekend-only festival of student-created new works, curated by Regina Taylor. The festival runs Friday, March 4 - Sunday, March 6, 2011.
