According to Whatsonstage.com, Angela Lansbury might be returning to the West End to star in the upcoming revival of PYGMALION. As previously reported, Lansbury would join Rupert Everett and Kara Tointon in the transfer of Chichester Festival's production. Lansbury would play Mrs. Higgins

The Broadway Beauty Pageant adds Lee Roy Reams to open the show in a special number 'Beautiful Boys' created by Gerard Alessandrini. The award-winning Tovah Feldshuh will be the host for this not-to-be-missed event on Monday, March 21st, 2011 at 8:00 PM, benefiting The Ali Forney Center, NYC's primary housing resource for homeless LGBT youth. The annual show will again be at the Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway (at 95th Street). This year's contestants are: Matt Anctil, La Cage aux Folles; Michael Cusumano, Chicago; Raymond J. Lee, Anything Goes; Brandon Rubendall, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark; and James Tabeek, Mary Poppins. Conceived by Jeffery Self and directed by Ryan J. Davis, The Broadway Beauty Pageant is musically directed by Christopher Denny, choreographer is Erin Porvaznika. Brian Tovar is the lighting designer The evening is produced by Wil Fisher, Ryan J. Davis, Jeffery Self and Matthew Oberstein.

According to Whatsonstage.com, Rupert Everett and Kara Tointon are set to star in the West End transfer of Chichester Festival's Pygmalion. Everettwill be reprising the role of Higgins, and will be joined by director Philip Prose, who also took part in the Chichester production.

Angela Lansbury and Friends (and what incredible friends she has!), an all-star salute to Terrence McNally, has been announced for Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Longacre Theatre at 7 pm. A benefit for The Acting Company, Ms. Lansbury has gathered Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, Tyne Daly, Edie Falco, Roger Rees and Raul Esparza who will sing, share memories and recreate scenes from dozens of McNally hits. John Glover, Marin Mazzie, Joyce DiDonato, Malcolm Gets, Emily Skinner, Alexandra Silber, Bobby Steggert, Jason Danieley and Stephen Bogardus will round out the evening.

Cadden Jones returns to the stage, headlining a limited engagement spring concert series to benefit The Harmony Program, a not-for-profit music education organization, on Saturday, March 26 at 7PM and Saturday, April 2 at 7PM at the Triad Theatre, 152 West 72nd Street.
