The Shapiro Sisters, 11-year old Milly Shapiro (Matilda, Original Broadway Cast of Matilda The Musical) and older sister, 14-year-old Abigail Shapiro (Cindy Lou Who, How The Grinch Stole Christmas), recorded the album live at the famed 54 BELOW over a series of three performances this past May and June. The Shapiro Sisters are returning to 54 BELOW tonight, August 28th at 7:00 PM, for an encore performance to celebrate the launch of their new CD.

New York - Producers Bruce Cohen, Robb Nanus, Jessica Leventhal, Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman announced today that child actor Noah Marlowe (Mary Poppins, Act One) will play "Young Harvey Milk" in the New York premiere of Tony and Grammy Award nominee Andrew Lippa's new oratorio, I Am Harvey Milk, set for Monday, October 6 at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. Mr. Marlowe originated the role in I Am Harvey Milk's world premiere performance in San Francisco and can be heard on the Original Cast Recording.
Studio East and StoryBook Theater will bring two wonderful children's tales for the whole family to the stage this Fall. A Little Princess, recommended for children ages 6+, will be performed by a talented cast of Eastside youth actors ages 10-19. Kids as young as 3 years old will enjoy the humorous antics that StoryBook Theater's Hansel & Gretel get involved in. StoryBook Theater is performed by adult actors at a variety of Puget Sound-area theaters.
