Casting for American Ballet Theatre's 2013 Fall Season at the David H. Koch Theater was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.

Congratulations to the 2013-2014 Gibney Dance Center (GDC) DiP Resident Artists: (pictured above clockwise from left) Dean Moss, Lance Gries,RoseAnne Spradlin, and Jon Kinzel. Each artist will receive three weeks of continuous rehearsal space, access to an adjacent production office, and a menu of staff support and resource options as part of the DiP program for mid-career, New York City-based dance artists.

The performances mark the conclusion of ABT's 18th annual New York Summer Intensive, a five-week training program for dancers ages 12 to 22.

The Jewish Museum presents Pictures Party tonight, July 18 from 8pm to 11pm. Partygoers will dance to music from punk to pop at a 1980s-inspired night with the post-punk band People at Parties and a DJ set by Tanlines. This entertaining evening is part of The Wind Up, a popular series of after-hours events with art, music, performance, drinks, and socializing , and is inspired by the Museum's current exhibition, Jack Goldstein × 10,000. Attendees will also enjoy guided tours of Jack Goldstein × 10,000 at 8:30pm and 9:30pm; interactive art making; refreshing summer treats; and an open bar with beer and wine. The Festival offers a variety of performances, events, exhibitions and workshops from today, July 8-August 31.

BRIDGING THE GAP: A traveling group exhibition featuring 50 artworks representing 40 artists from Queens, New York. This multi-venue show, curated by LIC Artists, Inc (Long Island City Artists) and Amy Winter, Director Godwin-Ternbach Museum, in collaboration with Flushing Town Hall, reaches out to the varied communities near LaGuardia Community College, Flushing Town Hall, and Queensborough Community College, to highlight and showcase the broad diversity and creativity of Queens' artists.
