Emmy-winning television star Carson Kressley joins the cast of off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for four weeks only. NEWSical The Musical is the forever changing, completely un-sanitized musical mockery of all the news that's fit to spoof. From the looming fiscal cliff crisis to the pope opening a Twitter account to Honey Boo Boo, NEWSicalThe Musical sets all of today's biggest pop culture headlines to song. Kressley is the latest star to grace the NEWSical The Musical stage. Previously, celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton joined the show for a limited run, followed by Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle and most recently, Saturday Night Live's Cheri Oteri. Carson Kressley will appear in NEWSical The Musical from February 6th - March 3rd.

The Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) has announced a limited engagement of The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler and directed by Karen Carpenter. Performances will be Wednesday, February 13 - Sunday, February 17 at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA).

On December 14, 2012, tragedy struck Sandy Hook Elementary School and our nation mourned with the residents of Newtown, Connecticut. As the town slowly attempts to recover, Broadway stars, producers, writers, and directors will lend their voices in support. 'From Broadway with Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place on January 28, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT, 20 minutes from Newtown.

Briggs Inc. yesterday announced the 11th annual June Briggs Awards winners for Excellence in Destination Management Services. The awards honor New York City's leading businesses that have excelled in performance and service in the destination management and hospitality industry www.JuneBriggsAwards.com. The awards honor New York City's leading businesses that have excelled in performance and service in the destination management and hospitality industry www.JuneBriggsAwards.com. The presentation of the awards will take place January 7, 2013 at 6pm at The Pierre New York a Taj Hotel (2 E. 61st Street).

Voting is now underway for the Philadelphia Awards and continues until December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in early January.

After exceeding box office expectations, former Saturday Night Live funny-girl Cheri Oteri has announced she will extend her four-week run in off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for two additional weeks. Ms Oteri's last scheduled performance was originally scheduled for December 30th; due to popular demand, she will now continue through January 13th.

54 Below will welcome multiple Grammy nominee Maureen McGovern to the stage when she presents an evening featuring songs of the season, some unexpected, and some traditional 'chestnuts.' Broadway audiences know her from?her acclaimed, Drama Desk-nominated performance in Little Woman, 3 Penny Opera, Nine and The Pirates of Penzance as well as off-Broadway's Brownstone, but the world over knows Maureen as 'The Disaster Theme Queen.' 59E59 Theaters welcomes Front Page Productions with FLIPSIDE: THE Patti Page STORY, written and directed by Greg White, and featuring 28 of Patti Page's hit songs. FLIPSIDE: THE Patti Page STORY begins performances tonight, December 18 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 30. Press Opening is Friday, December 21 at 8 PM.
