DATELINE NBC ranked #1 among newsmagazines in its Friday night slot in every key demo for the November 2016 sweep period, averaging 4.76 million total viewers, leading ABC's “20/20” by +631,000 (15%).

DATELINE NBC begins its 25th anniversary season on Friday, September 23 with a two-hour premiere at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, the first of 15 two-hour specials scheduled for the landmark season.

At 10p/9c tonight, DATELINE NBC will air “Prince: Life & Death of an Icon,” an hour-long special devoted to the life and legacy of Prince, the genre-busting pop icon and cultural luminary.
