Infinity Theatre Company has officially announced Directors for its 2016 season.

Curtain up! Light the lights! Flat Rock Playhouse announced today plans for the second annual Theatre with the Stars! Due to the overwhelming success of the 2015 fundraiser, the State Theatre of North Carolina has decided to make this exciting afternoon of song, dance and theatre an annual event, whereby eight local "stars" will partner with Flat Rock Playhouse "pros" and compete with the hopes of raising the most votes to win the title as well as $1000 for their selected non-profit of choice.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. The Hangar Theatre will present an original production, Women of Woodstock, created by cast member Melissa Hammans, September 25 and  26. Directed by Amy Jones, this world-premiere is being co-produced by the Hangar and Soul Picnic Productions. Join the cast, crew, and Hangar staff for this two-night limited engagement this weekend, September 25 and 26 at 8pm at the Hangar Theatre located at 801 Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY 14850 in Cass Park.

The Flat Rock Playhouse 2015 season will continue with the delightful feel-good musical Pump Boys & Dinettes, which will run from October 1st through October 25th on the Clyde & Nina Allen Mainstage in the village of Flat Rock.

The York Theatre Company world premiere production of the new musical play, Texas in Paris, written by Alan Govenar with spirituals, cowboy songs and country hymns, starring Tony award-winner Lillias White (Fela, The Life) with Scott Wakefield (Hands on a Hardbody) concludes its limited engagement this Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Flat Rock Playhouse and Executive Producer, Pardee Hospital will kick off the holiday season with the Charles Dickens' classic tale, A Christmas Carol on the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage beginning November 20th and running through December 21st. The perennial favorite literally comes to life on the stage in a spectacular new production featuring all the classic elements with a few new twists. It tells the story of bitter old miser Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation resulting from supernatural visits by Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. The industrial setting of 19th century England gives way to a story filled with hope and joy with original songs and amazing puppetry. All the well-known characters retell the magical and uplifting story from "Bah! Humbug!" to "God bless us, everyone!"
