Director JJ Kaczynski and a stellar lead cast bring the circus -- the three-ring and the marital variety both -- to Totem Pole Playhouse

The Marc Camoletti classic is back on stage at Totem Pole, and fifty years makes it no less funny

Departing today, July 23 from Fayetteville, Pennsylvania for a non-stop flight back to the swinging era of jet-setters, martinis and scintillating mayhem in the early 1960s is Totem Pole Playhouse's production of the classic Tony and Olivier Award-winning bedroom farce Boeing Boeing. Written by acclaimed French Playwright Marc Camoletti in 1962 and adapted into Paramount Pictures' 1965 blockbuster comedy film starring Jerry Lewis and Tony Curtis, Boeing Boeing has been in near constant production since including recent Broadway and London revivals and national tours in both the United States and United Kingdom.

"Absolutely Andrew" is a musical tribute to legendary Broadway composer, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, that will feature pieces from each of his Broadway hits including 'Evita", 'Cats", and 'Phantom of the Opera".

BROADWAY BACKWARDS 6, the one-night-only event held Monday at the Longacre Theatre, raised a record-breaking $281,243 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (the Center). This year's total far surpassed last year's previous record total of $186,780.

Spotlight On Festivals (Frank Calo, Executive Producer) presents Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World, to benefit the Patrick Michael McMurphy Foundation (PM3 Foundation), which supports the arts through scholarships and grants. Performances of this limited engagement run will be held at the Beckett Theatre, Theatre Row (410 West 42nd St.), from August 20 through 22, 2009.
