The Old Globe presents Nick Payne's Broadway hit play CONSTELLATIONS, arriving tonight, April 9, directed by the Globe's own Richard Seer. BroadwayWorld is excited to report that Christian Coulson and Victoria Frings will star in the two-person play.

Members of the cast of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY national tour Lucy Horton, Amy Linden, Bryan Welnicki, Cole Burden, Mary Callanan, Caitlin Houlahan, J Michael Zygo, John Campione, Tom Treadwell, Cullen Titmas, Brad Greer, and Jessica Sheridan will perform at the Curtain Call Lounge (521 North Grand Blvd.) on Monday, April 11 at 7PM to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids (BCEFA). Doors to the event will open at 6 p.m.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) and OBERON are pleased to present the TEAM's RoosevElvis, created by Rachel Chavkin, Libby King, Jake Margolin, and Kristein Sieh with Matt Hubbs, Andrew Schneider, and Nick Vaughan, directed by Rachel Chavkin. The production runs May 6-29 at OBERON, 2 Arrow Street, Cambridge.

Julie Taymor could be in the midst of plotting her big Broadway comeback.

The European premiere of The New Group's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production, The Spoils, a razor-sharp new comedy written by and starring internationally acclaimed actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice), will transfer for a strictly limited season at London's Trafalgar Studios, from 27 May to 13 August, with press night on 2 June. 

Aquila Theatre, one of the foremost producers of classical theater in the United States, has announced casting for its upcoming New York City production of Sophocles' PHILOCTETES.

The American Repertory Theater of WNY will begin their 10th season in the new 330 Amherst Street performance space with four productions schedule for the 2016-17 theatrical season. Scheduled for September 2016 is the power-punk musical AMERICAN IDIOT based on the 2004 critically acclaimed album released by Green Day, following in November 2016 is the sinister comedy by Halley Feiffer entitled HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS AND THEN KILL THEM, then after a winter break the second half of the 2016-17 season sees two productions including the fast-paced comedy, THE UNDERPANTS, written by the celebrated comedian Steve Martin slated for March, and in May a production of the 2010 dark comedy A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE by Martin McDonagh closes the season. 

Audience members who attend the new Broadway musical WAITRESS will not only get a feast for the eyes, but a feast for the nose as well!

Celebration Theatre at the Lex in association with Nicholas Caprio, Michael C. Kricfalusi, Todd Milliner and Jack Morrissey presents, under the artistic direction of Michael Matthews & Michael A. Shepperd, the West Coast premiere of THE BOY FROM OZ, music and lyrics by Peter Allen, book by Martin Sherman, original book by Nick Enright, choreography by Janet Roston, musical direction by Bryan Blaskie, produced by Andrew Carlberg and directed by Celebration Theatre co-artistic director Michael A. Shepperd. THE BOY FROM OZ will begin previews on Friday, April 22 at 8pm; will open on Friday, April 29 at 8pm and perform through Sunday, June 19 at the Celebration Theatre's new home, Celebration at the Lex Theatre, 6760 Lexington Ave. in Los Angeles.

San Diego Repertory Theatre extends the run of "R. Buckminster Fuller: THE HISTORY (and Mystery) OF THE UNIVERSE" due to popular demand with four additional performances. Written and directed by D.W. Jacobs, co-founder of San Diego REPertory Theatre, and performed by Ron Campbell, the return engagement now runs through April 10, 2016.

The regional premiere of the 2014 award-winning drama, The Body of An American, written by Guggenheim Fellow Dan O'Brien, plays at Theater J April 27 through May 22, 2016. New Repertory Theatre announces the National New Play Network (NNPN) Rolling World Premiere of BLACKBERRY WINTER, tonight, March 26, through April 17, 2016 in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA.
