THE DOUBTFUL GUEST Arrives at Public Arts in NYC

Following the show's development at The Orchard Project in 2017, LubDub Theatre presents The Doubtful Guest, an immersive contemporary s ance featuring cocktails and sleight-of-hand and exploring the legacy of American spiritualism. The piece premieres at The Public Hotel (215 Chrystie St., New York, NY) following sold-out developmental performances at The Inn at Saratoga and Guild Greene Gallery.

A.R.T. Announces Casting for HEAR WORD! Naija Women Talk True

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, is pleased to present HEAR WORD! Naija Women Talk True, a celebration of Nigerian women who have broken the culture of silence and challenged the status quo. Written and directed by Ifeoma Fafunwa and featuring a cast of leading actresses from the Nigerian stage and screen, the production will begin performances on Friday, January 26, and continue through Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, in Cambridge.

A.R.T. Adds Sensory Friendly Performance Of Bedlam's SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, will offer a sensory friendly performance of Bedlam's Sense & Sensibility on Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30PM. The performance for adults and children ages 12 and up will be specially modified for individuals with sensory needs, including people on the autism spectrum and their families and caretakers. This expansion of the theater's access performances, which include ASL interpreted, audio described, open captioned, and family-friendly sensory friendly performances, reflects A.R.T.'s commitment to providing quality arts experiences for all.

ART/WNY Announce Events Lined Up for January

Shake off those winter shivers with three January events lined up at the American Repertory Theater of WNY. On January 11th, Connor Graham will present his skills as a newly certified hypnotist in An Evening of Hypnosis with Connor Graham schedule for January 11th, 8-9:30 pm. ART/WNY will host the A Mid-Winter's Love the Vino in You Tale wine-tasting on January 20th. Finishing the month's series of special events is a two night stage reading of local playwright Matthew LaChiusa's comedy FRED'S REQUIEM. All events are being presented at ART/WNY's 330 Amherst Street performance space.

ART/WNY Announces New Artistic Director Candice Kogut

American Repertory Theater of WNY has appointed Buffalo actor, director and Artistic Director for the West Seneca Youth Theatre company, Candice Kogut as Artistic Director. 'Am completely confident in naming Candice as Artistic Director for this company.' Executive Director Matthew LaChiusa on Ms. Kogut's appointment. 'Based on her work ethic on stage, seeing solid management of her Youth Theatre group, her dedication to the Dramatic Arts, and commitment to taking this company to new levels, naming her to be the new Artistic Director wasn't a difficult decision to make.'
