Crown Center announces its schedule of events from July 2009 through August 2010. Located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Crown Center is often called a city within a city.

Crown Center Schedule of Events June 2009 - August 2010 Through June 21 Unnecessary Farce

Students from 44 Kansas City area high schools, who performed in 48 musical productions during the 2008-09 school year, sang and danced their way into the spotlight at Starlight Theatre tonight. During Starlight's seventh annual Blue Star Awards ceremony, their theatrical talents and achievements were cheered by more than 2,000 parents, friends, teachers and theatre fans attending the free public event.

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce the cast and creative team for the Pittsburgh premiere of 8-TRACK, The Sounds of the 70's, which runs May 21 through September 27 at the CLO Cabaret. Put on your leisure suit, flowered shirt, platform shoes and halter top and boogie on down for 10 years of ground-breaking music, including hits such as 'Brick House,' 'Lady Marmalade,' 'Best Of My Love,' 'Car Wash,' 'Stayin' Alive,' 'Y.M.C.A.,' 'The Hustle,' 'I Will Survive' and many, many more. Circle Theatre, a professional, contemporary regional theatre company in Sundance Square, will preview Hail Mary! by Tom Dudzick on May 14, 15, 16 (matinee). Hail Mary! officially opens Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 8:00pm. A post-show opening night celebration, follows Saturday evening's performance.

The hopes, dreams and inner desires of the residents of a small Midwestern town will come bursting to life in Kansas City Rep's production of the new Eric Rosen musical Winesburg, Ohio, one of the most original new musicals to come along this decade. Rosen, artistic director of the Rep, wrote the book and lyrics for Winesburg, Ohio and he will direct.
