With Thanksgiving now past, we are less than one week away from the television event of the season, at least for musical theatre fans, PETER PAN LIVE!. As anyone who reads BroadwayWorld or watches NBC knows, PETER PAN LIVE! is the follow up to last year's enormously successful THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!. Allison Williams (GIRLS) will play the boy who wouldn't grow up, while legendary actor Christopher Walken will play the scourge of the seven seas, Captain Hook. Also in the company are Tony winner Christian Borle (Mr. Darling and Mr. Smee), five-time Tony nominee Kelly O'Hara, Broadway's Taylor Louderman, and an ensemble full of some of the theatre's best young talent.

STARS OF DAVID: STORY TO SONG, a new musical revue based on the best-selling book by Abigail Pogrebin, is announced by Tony Award winning producer Daryl Roth, to launch an extensive 6-city Florida tour, premiering December 23 through January 4, at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

Louderman took time out from rehearsals for PETER PAN LIVE! to speak exclusively with BWW about learning to fly, the new original song she will perform in the show and what she is most looking forward to when the cameras go live on December 4th!

As BroadwayWorld.com previously reported, NBC has announced multiple song alterations for their upcoming live broadcast of PETER PAN, starring Allison Williams, Christopher Walker, and Christian Borle. As BroadwayWorld previously reported: in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Broadway composer Amanda Green and PETER PAN LIVE executive producer Neil Meron chat about expanding the lyrics to classic songs such as 'I Won't Grow Up' and 'I'm Flying,' for NBC's upcoming live broadcast of the musical classic. Green is the daughter of one of Peter Pan's original lyricists, Adolph Green, and has an impressive list of theater credits of her own, including the recent Broadway musical 'Hands On a Hardbody.' Commenting on choosing Green for the job of adding new lyrics to familiar numbers, Meron explains, 'It fleshed out the show. It deepened the characters, it kind of drove plot more-which good songs do in musicals. Amanda was just wonderful in capturing the spirit of her father and [Green's partner] Betty Comden.'
