According to The Wrap, Broadway vet Cheyenne Jackson has joined the cast of a pilot for Lifetime titled 'HR.' The actor joins previously announced cast members Greg Germann, Will Kemp, Kellee Stewar, Maulik Pancholy, Peter Fonda and Cara Mantella.

According to Birdland's website, Broadway veteran Cheyenne Jackson will be making his debut at the venue with his brand new show, featuring songs from his new album, 'I'm Blue Skies', as well as classics from his acclaimed one-man show 'Music of the Mad Men Era,' which sold out at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Jackson will be working with long-time musical director Ben Toth at Birdland on December 1 & 2, 2013 at 6 PM and 9:15 PM, respectively.

Alex Ko: From Iowa to Broadway, My Billy Elliot Story, the celebrated debut novel by Alex Ko that was endorsed by Sir Elton John, was released last week from HarperCollins Children's Books.
